Choir at Wynnum State School is an extra curricular
activity open to all students from Year 1 to Year 6. Currently there is
approximately 90 students involved in weekly choir rehearsals. The school has
three choral groups: Junior Choir for Years
1 and 2, Intermediate Choir for Years 3 and 4 and Senior Choir for Years 5 and
6.
The choirs perform for school functions (ANZAC day, assembly,
Sounds in Spring and various celebration ceremonies throughout the year) as
well as community events (St Peter’s Church Fete, ARAD Fete, Wakerley Christmas
Carols and the Wynnum Manly Eisteddfod).
