All facilities are purpose built. Learning/teaching, ergonomic and environmental considerations were at the forefront of the school design and construction process. Some features include large underground water tanks and the efficient use of solar energy. Design consideration also included natural light, air flow (ergonomically designed to take advantage of the bay breezes) and ventilation. The facilities have been designed in Learning Precincts to accommodate the differing needs of students, at various junctures, as well as shared areas for a variety of learning purposes.
