It's time to dust off Winter and bring on the smiles and frivolity that a change in the seasons deserves. On Friday the last day of term
, the Student Council will again be hosting Giggle Day. This day is held to support Canteen, an organisation that supports individual children and their families going through a cancer journey.
On this day, students are able to dress in anything that makes them feel happy or brings a smile to the faces of others. Suitable slogans on T-shirts and appropriate, safe footwear for school need to be a consideration when creating an outfit. No gold coin donation will be collected at the school entrances this year, but donations are welcome to the event page set up via this link.
Remember that any donation to a charity of over $2 is tax deductible and a receipt can be requested upon donation. What a positive way to celebrate the end of Term 3!
