Wynnum State School celebrated the International Day of Women and Girls in Science last week and our science lab hosted all things scientific for the girls in Prep to Year 6.
The staff encouraged all girls to discuss their knowledge, their questions and their aspirations for the future. The girls used many 'Habits of Mind' during this celebration. Gathering data through all senses; Questioning and Problem Posing; Persisting; Creating, Imagining and Innovating and Responding with Wonderment and Awe.
